Parker Graham - At Rockpalast

Condividi:

Graham Parker is one of most important singer/songwriters of the Rock era. His albums are consistently listed on numerous critic’s best lists and his “raspy soulful-punk” voice can convey vitriol and anger as well as tenderness like no other. Parker and his backing band the Rumour played two shows at Rockpalast in 1978 and 1980. The 1978 show included a horn section for accent, emulating the lineup on the “Heat Treatment” album and was taped at WDR Studio L. The 1980 appearance was taped at Gurgahalle, Essen where he opened the 7th Rockpalast night. The late Nicky Hopkins sat in on keyboards for Bob Andrews at this show, which was part of the tour supporting the album “The Up Escalator”, the final album of Parker & the Rumour’s tenure together. The DVD includes an extra feature: an short interview with Parker.
