2012 sees the musical phenomenon ‘We Will Rock You’ celebrate it’s 10th anniversary. In the UK alone the show has been seen by over 6 million people, and worldwide it’s been enjoyed by more than 13 million people. We Will Rock You’s continuing popular appeal was most recently highlighted when it won the 2011 Olivier Audience Award for Best Musical, the only award voted entirely by the public. This is the second award received by public vote, following on from the WhatsonStage Best New Musical award the show received in 2003.
